Step 1
To begin creating a custom calendar, identify the button on your homepage labeled "Custom Calendar." Click on it, and proceed by selecting "Create A Custom Calendar."

This feature is accessible on both mobile and desktop versions of Equina. On the homepage, locate the button for creating a custom calendar. Click on "Custom Calendar," and then proceed with "Create A Custom Calendar."
Step 3
At this stage, you will see various options for custom calendars. Most users opt for creating a multi-shift calendar to monitor specific shifts from their department. Select your department to proceed.

Typically, only your department will be visible. Click on "Continue," and select the shifts you wish to track.

Review the list of shifts, and once satisfied, click on "Continue." Name your custom calendar appropriately.
Step 6
Choose a color for your custom calendar, which will determine how the shifts are displayed. After completing these selections, click on "Save," and then close the window by clicking on the X.
Step 7
In your calendar, you will notice a new button labeled "Track," which will display the name of your custom calendar. Clicking on it will reveal all shifts associated with that custom calendar. To disable it, click on the toggle button again to turn off the custom calendar.

To delete the custom calendar, navigate to "Custom Calendars" and select the "Delete" button. Confirm the action to remove the custom calendar. You can create multiple custom calendars if needed. To create a custom calendar from a mobile device,

once logged into the Equina app, tap on the menu button represented by three bars. Choose "Create A Custom Calendar," then select the desired type of custom calendar. Typically, users create a multi-shift calendar. Select your department, click "Continue," and pick the shifts you wish to track.

After making your selections, click on "Continue." Assign a name to your custom calendar and choose a color for the display of your selected shifts.
Step 11
Save your custom calendar and close the window. To enable the custom calendar on your mobile device, locate the shortcut created for it. For instance, if it is named "Call Shifts," click on it.
Step 12
Upon clicking, all shifts associated with your custom calendar will display in the color you selected. To deactivate the display, simply click on the shortcut again to toggle it off.
Step 13
Custom calendars created in the Equina desktop version or the mobile version will sync with each other. This allows for seamless accessibility across platforms without the need to duplicate the calendar creation process.
