Step by Step Quick Video:
Step 1
To begin, access Equina from a desktop computer. Once logged in, navigate to your home page and select the "Calendar Sync" option.
Step 2
If this is your first time generating a calendar link, click the "Create Subscription" button. Wait for the link to be created, then click on the link to copy it. Next, proceed to Google Calendar.
Step 3
In your browser, open Google Calendar. Under "Other Calendars," click on the plus sign or icon, select "From URL," paste the Equina iCal link, and click "Add Calendar." You will see a message indicating that it is fetching data. After that, click the back arrow, and your shifts will be visible in Google Calendar.
Step 4
For Outlook Calendar, right-click on "Shared Calendars," select "Add Calendar," then "From Internet," paste the Equina iCal link, and click "OK." It might take a few moments for your shifts to sync in Outlook Calendar.
Step 5
The iCal you added will appear here. By selecting the checkbox, the calendar will load, displaying all imported shifts. You also have the option to rename this calendar.
Step 6
To rename, right-click and choose "Rename Calendar," then assign it a new name. All shifts will now be visible in Outlook. Let's move on to Apple Calendar.
Step 7
It's recommended to perform this step on an iPad or iPhone. Start by opening your Equina app. In the app, tap "More" at the bottom right, then select "Profile."
Step 8
Within "Profile," tap "Calendar Sync" and copy your iCal link by clicking the green button.
Step 9
Proceed to your iPhone or iPad settings and search for your calendar settings.
Step 10
Search for "Calendar" in settings to access Apple Calendar. Tap "Calendar Accounts," then "Add an Account," and select "Add an Other Account."
Step 11
Choose "Add Subscribed Calendar" and paste the Equina iCal link, then click "Next." You can assign a name to this calendar.
Step 12
Consider renaming it to something like "Equina Published Shifts." Once named, click "Save." Your Equina-assigned shifts will now be imported and visible in your Apple Calendar.
